Intercontinental Hangzhou, An Ihg Hotel★★★★

Hotel Introduction InterContinental Hangzhou is located in the Qianjiang New City Central Business District of Hangzhou, adjacent to the world-famous Qiantang River tidal bore. The Hangzhou Civic Center, Wave Culture City, and Hangzhou Grand Theatre are all within walking distance. The hotel is directly connected to the Civic Center Station (Lines 4 and 7) of the Hangzhou Metro, and is surrounded by large-scale shopping malls.

It is approximately 6 kilometers from the West Lake Music Fountain and adjacent shopping centers. Designed by renowned Canadian architect Carlos Ott, the hotel’s distinctive spherical façade—dominated by a golden hue—resembles a radiant golden sun, harmoniously complementing the crescent-shaped Hangzhou Grand Theatre across the river, symbolizing the auspicious concept of “the sun and moon shining together.” Its innovative architectural design has made InterContinental Hangzhou a prominent city landmark.
