Banyan Tree Ringha★★★★★

Hotel Introduction Description Tucked away in the remote paradise of Shangri-La, the Banyan Tree Ringha (Xianggelila Ren'an Yuerong Zhuang) is a collection of 15 charming Tibetan farmhouses, 11 apartments and 6 spa suites. Shangri-La Diqing airport is a 45 minute drive away. Each building is a bona fide Tibetan farmhouse, carefully relocated log by log.

Outfitted with luxury fittings in keeping with the surrounding environment, the overall effect is an experience that is both meticulously comfortable yet authentically Tibetan. Both Western and Chinese cuisine are served in Llamo, where signature dishes include deep-fried yak tenderloin, Yunnan roasted duck salad and Tibetan style hot and spicy noodles. Those seeking more adventurous surroundings in which to dine can opt for a Highland Romance, saddling up on horseback and being led by staff through the plains to the banks of a river for an open air dinner with a soundtrack of gurgling waters and reed pipes.
