+ The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and attractions nearby. The food in the restaurants for breakfast and dinner was amazing. The staff in the Villa Verona Italian restaurant and so kind and friendly, they made sure that we have the best food and service. The rooms were clean, and the overall facilities were good. Unfortunately, my positive impression was overshadowed by the poor handling of the reservation issue and the way it was managed by the reception staff.
− I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to ask if I needed a reservation to watch the FIFA matches at McGettigan’s. I clearly explained that I wanted to book for 18 and 19 July, and the hotel representative replied, “Ok, sure,” which reasonably led me to believe my request had been accepted. However, when I arrived, I was told there was no booking. On top of that, I was informed that there was a minimum spend of AED 200 per person, something that was never mentioned during our conversation. Had I been informed in advance, I could have made different plans. The communication was unclear and misleading, and it was especially disappointing as I was staying at the hotel with my family. I hope the hotel improves its communication and ensures guests receive clear confirmation and complete information before arrival.
