− The balcony is not well maintained and it has no roof, so when it rains - which is quite frequent - the whole place becomes really messy. The main downside is the sewage system. An awful smell comes from the bathtub, especially in early morning, which is unacceptable for a five star hotel.

− Location is bad. More appropriate to called Alila Brickfields, this hotel is not located in Bangsar. It's deceiving to guests. Hyatt hotels usually have very prime locations, either they are mostly surronded by high end shopping centers or Grade A commercial offices. Not for this particular hotel. I wouldn't use the term slum, .but if you are reading this, use Google live view to see the surroundings. You be the judge.
