+ The hotel is central, modern and high quality. However, it is the staff who make it, they couldn’t be more warm, welcoming and helpful. They seemed to genuinely care that you had a great stay in their hotel and in Malaysia. Definitely above and beyond.

Exceptional hotel in a great location - would book again!
+ A really fantastic hotel - we loved every minute of staying there. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, awesome pool and gym facilities
− If I had to mention one thing: it was a shame that we could visit the bar on floor 51 with our teenage kids. Understand the licensing restrictions but would have been great to go up there for a soft drink to see the view.

Excellent facilities and services
+ Location was good, close to KLCC. Facilities were exceptional - infinity swimming pool and the sanctum facilities at 29th floor. The tropical monsoon shower was something new to me and I enjoyed it. No chance to use the gym but it looked big and well equiped. I stay at room 4613 and it was clean, neat and modern, with a view of twin towers. Lift was working. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was stable. Hot water supply was consistent. Huge bathtub, hand shower and rain shower. Comfortable bed. No noise from neighbouring rooms. Given non smoking room as requested. TV- good selection of local and international channels, and impressed with on demand movie option. Breakfast had good spread - was impressed with promotion of local dishes - staff dressed in traditional costume to serve Nasi Lemak, live station for Roti Canai and teh tarik was available. 1. Received a WhatsApp message a few days from EQ before my stay to tell me that there was a promo for other services (spa etc) guests who booked directly with EQ. I replied to say I had booked via Booking.com and had no replies after from EQ. Suggest to check internally if the guest is eligible first before reaching out. Was slightly disappointed with the no replies.
2. I had a late check and found that my TV was not responding to the remote control. It also reflected the previous guest's name instead of mine. Had to call front desk a few times around 1am before the call was answered and they sent an engineer. The engineer told me it was the TV box will sometimes hang and cause this to happen. Nonetheless, impressed with that this non-urgent service was available at the wee hours. Overall, well done!
