− I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the InterContinental Jordan. Having stayed at this hotel for over seven years, I never expected the standards to decline to this extent. Unfortunately, this will be our last visit. The problems started before we even checked in. The hotel attempted to charge us a different price from the one we had booked, claiming it was due to currency changes. Instead of honoring the confirmed booking price or offering a reasonable solution, we were told to go exchange our money elsewhere to avoid paying more. That is not something guests should have to deal with, especially at a five-star hotel. The suite itself was outdated and in need of renovation. To make matters worse, the extra bed that was brought to our room was visibly ripped and worn out. This is simply unacceptable for a hotel that advertises itself as a luxury property. The worst part of our stay was the housekeeping. One day, we requested that our room be cleaned while we were out.
