A comfortable hotel with genuinely welcoming staff, very good local food, and an excellent restauran
+ I stayed at the Canary Boutique Hotel both at the beginning and at the end of my trip to Jordan and would gladly stay there again.
The rooms were comfortable and well equipped with air conditioning, a kettle, tea, coffee, and complimentary bottled water. There was no minibar, but additional water was always available at reception, which is particularly helpful for travellers, as tap water is generally not recommended for drinking in Jordan.
What really stood out was the friendliness and professionalism of the entire staff. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely interested in making guests feel comfortable.
The hotel also offers good dining options. I especially enjoyed the traditional restaurant, where I had the opportunity to try several local Jordanian dishes. The food was excellent and provided a great introduction to the country's cuisine. The hotel also has a second restaurant offering a more Western-style menu, giving guests additional choice.

A minibar or small refrigerator would have been useful for keeping drinks cold, especially during the warmer months. The breakfast is clearly geared toward local Jordanian tastes rather than a typical Central European hotel breakfast. Guests looking for bread rolls, toast, and a wider selection of Western breakfast items may find the choices somewhat different.
That said, the hotel is not located in a major tourist area, and I actually appreciated the opportunity to experience local cuisine. The breakfast buffet included scrambled eggs, juices, coffee, and traditional flatbread instead of rolls. The hummus was excellent and among the best I had during my stay in Jordan.
