+ Room smelt like smoke even though there was a no smoking sign on the door. There was garbage behind the bed. Bedding and towels were clean but showed wear. Noon checkout was nice.

+ A dirty and old Hotel. They told me they didn’t do room service, and it actually looked like they hadn’t cleaned the room before i checked in.

+ We had to check out of this place early and get money back. The sound transfer between the walls is incredible - you can hear virtually everything from the neighboring rooms. It smells like cigarettes everywhere. This hotel has 3 bars, the hotel part is basically an accessory to the bar business.

Taxi
+ Do not ask the staff to find you a taxi, because we found out that the taxi and hotel staff charged the customer much more for getting a taxi. The taxi driver and hotel staff knew that we wanted to take a taxi and the taxi driver charged us triple of what regal taxi would cost. For example, a taxi will cost around 5 dinars or less to go anywhere in Jordan, but the taxi that the hotel got for us charged us 20 dinars! To go to a restaurant that is only 10 mints away from the hotel. Just be careful and don’t ask or let the hotel staff to get you a taxi.
Thanks

Overall good value for money with friendly staff
+ We stayed at the Canyon Boutique Hotel for five days during our visit in Amman. The Hotel was very modern with friendly staff, all trough some staff had difficulty understanding and speaking English. Rooms were open and very nice, all though they were not automatically cleaned (you have to tell the staff, if you want your room cleaned). The hotel served a decent breakfast and had a bar/restaurant at the top floor with quite good food at reasonable prices. There are not a lot of other restaurants in the nearby area, but taxis come by regularly. The taxi drivers do however have some trouble understanding the location of the hotel (even though it is right next to Jordan Hospital), but that is mainly due to bad English-capabilities of local cab drivers. Overall a good experience, the staff is ready to assist, you can easily get a taxi to other parts of Amman and the price is very good (we arrived one day late due to bad weather at our country of origin, and the hotel didn't charge us for t
