Soffia Hotel

+ The staffs are Very nice and helpful but the breakfast need to improve. Over all are good.

+ Ottima posizione e camera con vista sulle flame towers, per godersi il centro storico.

+ Tucked away on a hidden corner, you should best navigate your way to Soffia using Google Maps Directions, or find the opening to Efendi Ilyas Street next to the old city walls and following it all the way through, no matter how improbable the path looks. Having found it, it's a blissfully comfortable place, with balconies for some rooms. A well-supplied breakfast takes place at the top, with stunning views over the Old City, Beyler Mosque, the Flame Towers and even the Crystal Palace over by Baku Bay. Specify if you want new towels or sheets changed because they might not provide daily service. Our toilet seat could rock a little, and the drainage for the bath cubicle wasn't too great, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay in an architecturally stunning city.

+ Dear Sirs I have been an Expedia user for 20 yrs and yesterday while traveling in Baku we had a really bad experience. first with the hotel, we were supposed to have booked a 4 star hotel and upon arrival they said that the hotel was not in service anymore and was apparently closed down, but relocated to another building just contiguous to the other one, the building was horrendous, dirty, filthy, roaches on the floor, carpets full of dust and a kitchen with dirty plates, that was just across from my room, which I got on film for you to see, then we were more than 1 hr dealing with you guys on the phone paying long distance service without any progress trying to relocate and looking forward for your advice and guidance many times we were given names of hotel, but they were far away or super expensive and after many calls and attempts, unfortunately without success, we got tired, frustrated and upset with the circumstances, I can only hope to get a truthful apology from Expedia as well

+ IVA HOTEL DOESNT EVEN EXIST. NEW PROPERTY TOOK OVER THE HOTEL A MONTH AGO AND WE DIDNT HAVE ANY ROOM BOOKED TO MY NAME ! I STRONGLY DISAPPROVE EXPEDIA OF NOT CHECKING ON TIME WHETHER HOTEL EXISTS OR NOT. ITS A SUCH BIG MISTAKE. IM A LOYAL EXPEDIA CUSTOMER SINCE 2000 BUT THIS IS INEXCUSABLE .
