+ Divan Istanbul has truly become my home in Istanbul. I have stayed here many times over the years, and one of the reasons I always return is the remarkable consistency of the service. No matter how busy the hotel is, I know I will be welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism. The front desk team is simply exceptional. They are always punctual, highly organized, and remarkably attentive. One of the details that makes Divan stand out is that they greet returning guests by name, creating an atmosphere that feels both elegant and personal from the moment I arrive. A special thank you to Bülent Bey, Guest Relations Director, whose dedication to guest satisfaction is truly outstanding. His professionalism and genuine care ensure that every stay feels effortless. I would also like to thank General Manager Yulia Hanım, whose leadership helps preserve the outstanding culture that has long made Divan Istanbul a benchmark in Turkish hospitality. + As a frequent international traveler—for both business and family holidays—I regularly stay in five-star properties, predominantly across the Middle East (UAE) and Asia (e.g., Singapore, Bangkok, and Kuala Lumpur). This background gives me a solid benchmark to objectively evaluate and compare hotels within this segment. On paper, the Divan Istanbul meets the baseline criteria of a five-star hotel. The true distinction, however, lies in the details and the overall guest experience. Location and Arrival The Divan Istanbul is strategically located in the bustling tourist hub of Taksim, technically within the Şişli district, and is surrounded by various other luxury hotels. IST Airport is roughly a 40km drive via the highway. While the hotel offers a shuttle service for convenience, guests can easily navigate on their own using the readily available public transport options, including the metro, buses, taxis, or a rental car. Note that there is no free parking available at the property. L
