A fantastic “five star, three star” hotel in the heart of Cairo. Atmospheric and faded grandour galore.
+ A beautiful old, creaky, throwback-to-yesteryear (in a good way) hotel that feels like it’s not changed all that much since the 1930s. I mean this in a good way, but expectations ought to be managed a little.

Very good value for money in the city center
+ If you want to visit Cairo this hotel is perfect. It's located in the center just at the metro station Nasser Square and near the Railway station. The style is charming and reminds to old Egypt. There is a rooftop bar where you can have dinner too. The room is clean and charming. Also, my room was very silent!
The personel is very friendly and helpful.
− Remember your grandparents’ house. The style is old and leads you into the past. Everything is well ordered, nicely designed and in a good shape. If you like this type of atmosphere you won't find something negative here.

Posizione perfetta, molto caratteristico del Cairo, staff disponibile in tutto
+ Hotel molto caratteristico, atmosfera di una Cairo antica. Posizione perfetta, davanti la metro che in pochi minuti ti porta a Cairo Copto, banca nella strada davanti ben fornita di ATM per ritirare, negozietto davanti per acqua e rifornimenti. Nel centro di Downtown con ristoranti e caffè Riche a 15 min a piedi. Davvero comodo per tutto. 15 min di uber dal bazar. Molto carina la terrazza dove servono la colazione ed é possibile anche bere qualcosa la sera in tranquillità. La struttura non é nuova, alcune cose sono vecchie del tempo ma é anche la sua particolarità. Staff gentile e disponibile ad aiutarti in qualsiasi modo. Consiglio a chi cerca un posto davvero caratteristico.
− La zona é molto trafficata, sei nel centro di Downton, ma le stanze sono silenziosissime. La struttura é datata, non aspettatevi un hotel moderno.
