+ I loved the staff, first and foremost. Everyone was very kind and attentive. Youhanna (manager) was so communicative and helped me a lot when my trip took some unexpected turns. He was so flexible and helpful. Maryam was also wonderful as were the front desk boys. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I loved that I could help myself to the drinks fridge anytime. It was luxurious. I was kindly given an upgrade to a lovely room. I never found it noisy...however it can be loud as it is in the historic centre so bring earplugs (general advice for Egypt;-). The location is fantastic if you want to explore Islamic Cairo and not worry about long Uber rides back to other parts of town. I will be back!

+ Youhanna and his team were really welcoming and really nice with us during our stay. Located in a center of the old Cairo it was wonderful. The room and the hotel had a typical Egyptians decoration, it was beautiful. We were really happy of our stay.

+ Brilliant find. Wonderfully unique hotel in old Cairo. Beautifully renovated old building with lovely charm. Really clean bedroom and ensuite with friendly and helpful staff. Unique co-operative craft project operating on the ground floor where several different artisans have workshops and are very happy to explain their crafts. Fabulous location amid the hustle and bustle of old Cairo. If like us you are looking to experience authentic Cairo - you need look no further.
