Lovely staff but a disappointing room.

+ The breakfast selection was very good. Fresh omelettes were available

− The bed was awful. Springy and very little support. Disappointed for a 4 star hotel! The room was also very dusty.

− Very expensive, the room facilities and decoration is not that good, we expected very nice and modren room but it was very basic, similar to other hotles which may cost less than half of its price over night.

Nice

+ One night stay. Chosen for its proximity by public transport to the o2 arena...door to door in 30 minutes which is fab. We've stayed at the Intercontinental o2 arena recently so a bit of a comparison. Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Comfy bed. Rooms and common areas are beginning to look rather dated and in need of refurb. View of waste ground a bit off putting. Executive lounge no longer offers breakfast and evening food offering has definitely deteriorated compared to our last visit. As a whole exec lounge kind of lacks an element of luxury compared to other lounges we've used over the years, small details lacking. This is however a somewhat nit picking review and comparing to the Intercontinental which offers a more luxurious feel and is next door to the o2 (but does not offer the same choice of transport and area facilities).

− Room cramped, no coffee or tea in the room, it felt more like a dormitory setting than a hotel room. Breakfast very underwhelming for Hilton standard

Pleasant stay.

+ Welcoming staff, great breakfast og spacious room.

− One TV was disconnected from the mains and did not work, and, when on, the two TVs were serially connected.

Fantastic stay

+ Just back from a three night stay. Fantastic time spent at this hotel. Impressive in all ways. Room size cleanliness and freindly colleagues. Thanks to paulette for her knowledge giving my wife and i the know all on the 02 arena and its designer outlets giving my wife the chance to buy clothes at a great saving. Paulette is an asset to the hilton brand and everthing hospitality stands for.
