A reasonably priced stay in London at a good standard hotel with excellent transport links
+ We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Courtyard by Marriot London City Airport. We chose this hotel based on excellent previous reviews, the price and its location near the O2 Arena. We travelled from Waterloo by Uberboat (to North Greenwich pier then 129 bus) and back by 129 bus then the Jubilee Line. All services are frequent. We were very pleased with our choice of hotel.
All staff that we met were friendly especially at Reception and those looking after breakfast.
The room was a decent size, was spotlessly clean and had water, tea & coffee making facilities. Despite being very close to the London City Airport, there was little or no noise from flights arriving / departing.
We chose to pre-book breakfast: at £15 / person it's not cheap but there was a wide choice of hot and cold / healthy and not so healthy breakfast options, as well as good quality bottomless coffee, tea, juices etc.
We would definitely consider staying at this hotel again when attending an event at the O2.
− The only thing that was perhaps below par is the fact that the breakfast items for the cooked breakfast (bacon, sausages, hash browns, scrambled eggs) were not particularly hot. Perhaps it would be an idea not to cook so much in advance. Perhaps we were a bit unlucky...

+ Un espace convivial et confortable, un hôtel de professionnels et de qualité. Le personnel sympathique.
− C'est un peu l'usine et on a parfois l'impression d'être invisible quand on passe la porte pour sortir ou rentrer...
