Friendly staff and great service

Dee and Chef Edy and Moired serves up a great meal on our last night before leaving before they closed the kitchen. Took extra care to split our shared meal and even made a wonderful ice cream dessert. 5 stars and Dee was a pleasure to talk with and take care of me on several occasions.

Hotel Experience
+ I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The entire team was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Anna for her exceptional kindness and support. She was always happy to help, not only with the hotel but also with recommendations and advice about the city, which I truly appreciated. I would also like to thank the breakfast team for their warm welcome and excellent service every morning. They made every day start with a smile

Great location
+ Great location down a quiet street. The area felt very safe.
Our room was huge and had everything we needed. The fridge was stocked with some complimentary water and biscuits. The bed was very big, and comfortable. The air con was good. The window opened, but there was a noisy building oppose, so we kept it closed.
The bathroom was large, with a separate bath and shower. A good sized ledge and cabinet for storage. The robes and slippers were a great extra.
− One of the lifts was out of order.
Breakfast wasn't good. My eggs and mushroom tasted of nothing and the beans were watery. The 'toast' was barely toasted. Looking back, I should have said something and put it back, as it was so poor.
The shower wasn't draining. We called reception and within 10 minutes someone was in our room to repair it. A great response, but a little inconvenient it happened.
I'd say the cleanliness let it down slightly. It was clean, but not very clean. There were marks on the pictures and mirror. Hairs on the sofa. There were two horrible looking stains on the carpet, which made me avoid that bit of the room

Well located, clean, quiet hotel
+ Lovely well appointed room - very clean and comfortable. Nice to have some kerbside tables outside where you can have a coffee. Breakfast very good. Excellent service.
It would be good if the bar stayed open a bit later.

+ Great comfortable stay in central London! Easy access to the Elizabeth and Central lines. Room was as shown in pictures. Staff were friendly and helpful, the front desk always had an attendant. Our room included breakfast and it was above and beyond expectations--- a proper plated breakfast with many options, instead of a buffet. We loved it. Room was clean and comfortable, wifi was great. Would certainly stay here again.
