+ The Hilton London Olympia is in a great location, the staff are some of the best I have encountered in 40+ years of travelling! However, their one omission (and for me it is a big one); they fail to disclose that you could encounter stairs when navigating luggage to/from your room on check-in/check-out! I do believe that if this detail was disclosed, potential guests could make informed decisions about stays at this hotel, especially the elderly or those with physical limitations. I did request a room change and was accommodated. So, if stairs are not an issue for you I recommend this hotel as it is in a great neigbourhood with great shopping and restaurants in walking distance. The team are attentive and extremely friendly, but this omission takes a bit of the shine off the apple!
Jul 2026 + We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton. The hotel was clean and in a great location, with excellent transport links that made getting around London really easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and our room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, and it set us up perfectly for busy days exploring the city. We travelled as a family and felt very well looked after.
A special shout-out to Francesca, who was so lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. Her kindness and friendly attitude really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Don't let some of the negative reviews put you off. Yes, parts of the hotel are a little dated, but it was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and excellent value for the location. If you're looking for a clean, friendly hotel in a great area rather than expecting a luxury five-star experience, this is a fantastic choice.

Os funcionários são excelentes, simpáticos, mas o hotel precisa de uma repaginada, uma reforma.
+ A localização é muito boa, bairro excelente, perto de restaurantes gostosos, museus, parques. Os metrôs mais perto ficam há mais ou menos 15/20 minutos à pé.
− O hotel está muito envelhecido, precisa de muitos reparos, móveis dos quartos muito antigos, camas não muito confortáveis, carpetes e cortinhas escuras e a iluminação não muito boa. A limpeza, por ser carpete, também fica prejudicada.

+ The location was the best thing about the hotel
− Having to navigate too many stairs.
Using the back elevator was disgusting, there was trash at the elevator room and I didn’t feel secure.
Had issues with the shower and toilet.
Overall not a pleasant experience at all.
