London Marriott Hotel Marble Arch

+ My daughter had bought a gift voucher for afternoon tea at the Marriott Hotel, Marble Arch. Occasionally when we have redeemed a voucher we have been sat at the back of the restaurant and not been treated so well. Not today. From the moment we arrived Vivian, our host treated us like royalty. He was attentive but not overbearing. He remembered our names and recommended the best tea blends to go with our sandwiches and cakes. The afternoon tea itself was dainty, exquisite and delicious. Every member of staff was polite, warm and friendly. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go again for special family occasions.

+ As always, Marriott did not disappoint. I'm a loyal Marriott guest, and this hotel once again delivered excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and professional, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring London. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out. I always enjoy staying with Marriott, and I look forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!

+ The location is unmatched, 5 minutes walk to the Hyde Park and Marble Arch. It’s newly refurbished and is in perfect condition. Heinrich at the front desk is an exceptional person. Greets everyone with a smile and makes you comfortable. My check in was done in less than 3 minutes and even though I was early, he immediately got a room for me. For a central London accommodation, this place is the best

+ Great location, though the property shows some wear The location is genuinely excellent: walking distance to Oxford Street, right by Hyde Park, and not far from Green Park and Buckingham Palace either, so it's a strong base for exploring central London on foot. A few caveats worth flagging. The entrance was under construction during our stay, and we ended up entering through the pub attached to the building, which felt a bit awkward for a hotel at this level. Rooms are on the smaller side, though ours had clearly been recently refurbished and felt fresh inside. Service throughout was good and the staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. That said, the property overall could be better maintained; some areas felt like they needed more upkeep to match the quality of the refurbished rooms. Overall, a solid stay let down slightly by maintenance and the construction at the entrance, but the location alone makes it worth considering.
