Kensington Prime Hotel

− Small bedroom

− I was here with two friends (a couple) so we had booked separately. They were on the second floor. I was on the lower ground floor. The location of my room was right beside the kitchen. The room had a frosted window and when I looked out of it, the view was of the actual kitchen. I had a feeling I would probably be woken early by the kitchen staff preparing breakfast. Breakfast is scheduled from 7.30am so I asked the receptionist if I could move rooms but she said the hotel was fully booked. I asked if all the rooms were the same nightly rate and she said yes. The receptionist was very apologetic and kind, so I have no issues with her service. I was woken at 7am hearing pots and pans being used. I could see the kitchen staff through the frosted glass so I pulled the curtains across but it was still loud and I didn't get back to sleep. I just think if you are going to place someone in a room beside the hotel kitchen, maybe reduce the rate of that room because its not fair that
