Could be better, could be worse.
+ During the heat wave, we were really pleased that the room had air conditioning, and it worked very well throughout our stay.
When we arrived at the property, we were greeted by a friendly staff member who let us know that the room was not quite ready yet, but they were happy to store our bags until it was available, which was helpful.
The location is good for Hyde Park. It is not directly on the doorstep, but it is within a very manageable walking distance if you don’t mind a short stroll. The surrounding area is also a real positive, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and places to eat nearby, making it a convenient base for exploring the area.
As soon as you book, they reach out to you and check in to see if you have any questions or anything.
− When we arrived, the room wasn’t ready, despite check-in being advertised as from 2pm. There were quite a few people waiting in the reception area, which is very small and quickly became crowded.
Once we were assigned our room, there was no lift available, which made getting to the room inconvenient. The room itself was extremely disappointing. Although it was advertised as a large double room, it was actually very small. The layout was poor, and the bed could only be accessed from one side, meaning you had to climb over it to get in. The bed was positioned right next to the window, so traffic noise was very noticeable. I was woken at 5am by a loud motorbike horn, which was not the kind of wake-up call anyone wants.
The room also lacked basic comforts. There was only one mirror in the bathroom and none in the bedroom. It would have been a nice touch to have some complimentary water provided, especially given the size and price of the room. A better layout, a larger bed, and more though

Great location
+ Near Paddington and the air con was fabulous. Shower was also good.
− My daughter struggled to sleep in one of the beds as it was too hard. we swapped and she was ok. Would have liked a bath mat but was given an extra small towel to use instead.

Good location, clean, tidy and welcoming.
+ It was clean and comfortable, the communication before we arrived was very good and we'd definitely stay here again, it's not the Ritz, but it was perfect for what we required.
