Very expensive. If it wasn't for the friendliness of the staff, I would have given this hotel a 1.
+ Very friendly staff. They were very helpful and welcoming.
The location was close to the metro and Louvre, but not a clean area.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the room was very spacious.
− It's a very old hotel, and it looks really rundown. It needs a lot of renovation and it wasn't clean enough.
There were no dinner facilities at the hotel, and the breakfast was very limited. Same things for the 5 days spent there. It was disappointing that omelette and fried eggs were at an additional cost because we do not like scrambled eggs. I think that was not fair at all.
Finally, it is VERY important to add that if you don't like basements, make it clear to them when you book to avoid disappointment. Because, on the first day, we got a room in the basement( which, funny enough for for them, it's not a basement, but located below road level, and at -1 in elevator it is definitely a basement for me). I refused to stay there, and the next day, we were offered one in the attic, which was better, yet not great.
