+ Anthony the manager was professional.
− - [ ] I rarely leave negative reviews, but after paying approximately AED 9,000 for six nights in the Penthouse, the highest room category at The Pavilions Phuket, I feel other travellers deserve to know what to expect.
- [ ] For the price charged, this property is simply not comparable to the luxury resorts around Phuket. In fact, even nearby five-star pool villa resorts such as Banyan Tree were available for less during my stay.
- [ ] The resort feels very tired and outdated. It is clearly in need of a complete refurbishment.
- [ ] Our Penthouse had numerous issues:
- [ ] A strong damp, musty smell throughout the room, masked by cheap air freshener.
- [ ] Dark, dated interiors and worn furniture.
- [ ] Mould around the bathroom sinks.
- [ ] A sofa that had an unpleasant smell.
- [ ] Our private pool looked dirty, so we didn't feel comfortable using it.
- [ ] The room was full of mosquitoes, requiring pest control on multiple occasions.

Our trip was ruined
+ Upon our arrival, there was heavy rainfall, and we were shocked to find that significant amounts of water entered the villa. The floors became flooded and extremely slippery, creating hazardous conditions throughout the property. A housekeeper was sent to mop the floor; however, no member of the maintenance team was sent to inspect or assess the issue.
As a direct consequence of these unsafe conditions, my husband fell on the uneven staircase within the villa. The fall resulted in a deep laceration to his arm, which was clearly severe enough to require medical attention and stitches.
We were extremely concerned by the response from your staff. Rather than arranging for a doctor or assisting us in obtaining appropriate medical treatment, only a first aider was sent to assess my husband's injury. He was given a couple of plasters, despite the wound clearly requiring professional medical care. Following this, the only gesture from the villa was the delivery of a single "get better" tea

+ I really enjoyed my stay at The Pavilions Phuket because of the kind people and beautiful jungle like surroundings.
− I didn't like the interior design of my room. I also thought that the infinity pool that I saw on the photos was the pool I can go to, but it wasn't the case. There was another pool open to everyone without the view... I felt this was misleading.
