+ The location is ideal as is situated right on the beach with easy and direct access from hotel blocks through the hotel grounds and beach club, and within 2 minutes from of some great restaurants and cafes from the hotel entrance - shout out to Cafe de Bang Tao. Our check-in at approx 10:30am was relatively smooth but ended tiring as we requested a possible early room check-in upon arrival due to long travel hours and hot temperatures to rest and freshen up, and was assured the reception and housekeeping were working to ready a room ASAP. However, we were disappointed to learn a room wasn’t available until much closer to the actual check-in time at 3pm. We had booked a double bed but were placed into a twin room - we didn’t raise this with reception due to tiredness and didn’t feel comfortable doing so from our initial check-in process. The room itself was large and spacious with great air conditioning and plenty of room for storage luggage, and clothing in the wardrobe etc, includin

+ The best thing about this hotel is definitely its location – it’s close to everything, and the rooms are decent. Unfortunately, from there it goes steeply downhill. The pool area is in very poor condition. It is extremely worn, with clearly missing tiles, large cracks, and visible signs of mold around the drains, many of which are also broken. In the larger pool (around 120 cm deep), you can barely see the bottom because the water is so unclear and dirty. During our 14-day stay, we did not see any maintenance of the pool area at all – no cleaning and no visible addition of chemicals. No matter where you are in the pool, you cannot feel any water circulation, which makes it seem like the pump system is not functioning properly or is insufficient for such a large pool. Overall, the level of service from the staff is far below what you would normally expect in Thailand. There is very little effort to create a welcoming atmosphere, and the service is minimal at best. We booked and fully paid in March 2025, received written confirmation, and trusted that our reservation was secure. Yet just two weeks before our arrival, the hotel abruptly cancelled everything — hiding behind a vague “system glitch” and overbooking as their excuse. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a minor mistake. This was a complete operational meltdown. A hotel that cannot honour confirmed, prepaid reservations is a hotel that cannot be trusted at all. What made the situation even worse was their attitude. No real solutions. No urgency. No accountability. No attempt to fix the chaos they created. They simply left us stranded and expected us to deal with the consequences of their failure. The level of disregard shown toward paying guests is staggering. Reliability, professionalism, and basic respect for customers seem to be entirely absent here.
