Relaxing and comfortable location
+ We spent ten nights at this resort looking to relax and unwind during our stay and we were not disappointed, our room no 307 overlooked the pool at ground floor level and was very well maintained by the lovely lady who serviced our room most days. Never an issue getting a sunbed and the service at both the pool bar and the restaurant in the mornings was first class, I have to mention Wanchi who provided excellent service at the pool bar and during breakfast in the mornings he is a real asset to this hotel and a really helpful guy. The staff in the restaurant were also very good and the breakfast offering was fairly good although not varied very often. The staff who I believe were quite new on the reception did not always understand English which at times made communication quite difficult but not a major issue. Great to have Wi-fi at the hotel throughout our stay and we were close to all the amenities, the beach was just five minutes away with a seven/eleven store right on the doorstep

Too Noisy! Dated!
+ Our stay at Coconut Village Resort & Spa Phuket was extremely disappointing and ultimately unbearable. The hotel is very dated and clearly in need of refurbishment, with tired facilities, poor maintenance, and a below-average breakfast that didn’t meet even basic expectations.
The biggest issue by far was the noise. The so called tropical rooms are right by a busy road, and the constant sound of cars and motorbikes is incredibly loud and continues well into the night. Sleep was almost impossible, even with earplugs. The lack of proper soundproofing makes this completely unacceptable for a hotel that’s meant to be a place to relax.
When we raised this during our stay, the response from staff was poor. We were offered another room just three doors away, which would have made absolutely no difference given the source of the noise. We were then told we couldn’t move to a different, quieter block because it would be considered a “downgrade” at that point, we would have accepted anything j

Lovely hotel, great location, lovely Staff
+ Stayed for 5 nights Nov/Dec. Hotel is lovely and clean , pool area superb, Staff around the hotel were so helpful. Good breakfasts . We had an issue on our first night but this quickly resolved by Kanitthaj on reception, she went above and beyond . Thank you. Would recommend this hotel as great value for money due to location/ staff / hotel in general. Tip, if thinking of booking ask for a 200 or a 300 room as they are a lot quieter. Those starting with a 100 are on the main road and are v noisy

Clean and Tidy.
+ I enjoyed my stay here. Room was upmarket, bed and pillows were great. View of pool serene. Grounds clean & tidy. Breakfast was yum. Evening meal can be enjoyed in cafe with full menu at front of resort. Staff were very welcoming. Thankyou

Worst hotel I’ve stayed in
+ We planned a 4-night stay but switched hotels after the first night. The location is convenient, away from the main strip with a 7-Eleven next door. However, room 103 was disappointing. The road behind the bush is constantly noisy with tuk-tuks blaring music and loud exhausts.
The reception lobby is open, allowing anyone to enter. Our room door was bent, indicating a previous break-in, and the safe wasn’t bolted to the wall, making it easy to steal. The shower was broken, improperly fitted, and the towels and shower curtain were stained.
I must say we were completely fooled by the photos and reviews of some people. Maybe we had bad luck when staying here compared to some others.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed in better 2-star and even 1-star hotels.
