Kata Pool Apartments

+ There was extremely loud construction going on right outside the door. Unclean. Felt insecure. I will be looking into a refund.

+ We arrived to be told we did not have a booking. The lady had limited English and my Thai is limited. We showed her the booking slip and she looked confused. She then made a phone call and was away a while. Then she showed us the room. The bathroom was dirty and you were lucky to fit one person in The other areas looked ok It faced onto a small pool and was actually in the complex of their home. There was a little girl riding around on the bike in the pool area. I asked for a room above with a bath and she said gone The complex only has two apartments one above and one below The rest is the house of the owner The beach was miles away and a 200 Baht taxi ride I ended up booking different accommodation which was closer to beach and where we felt welcome. Very very disappointed. Glad we changed accommodation as Chanalai Garden Resort was amazing. Also it is not located in Karon Beach but Kata Beach! This was a bonus as Kata beach just beautiful and quiet! Very very disappointed with

+ diving trip...close to chalong with car

+ A little home away from home, very handy and close to the beaches. The location was perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle and the staff were very friendly.

+ Apoartment was hard to find at end of a gravel road. Photo on site is creative indicating a large pool far from the truth. Village itself has limited activity with one bar and a few local restaurants
