+ Our experience at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort was defined by the outstanding hospitality and the warmth of the entire team. The staff members were incredibly attentive and welcoming, quickly resolving any request—from room service and technical issues to providing golf cart rides around the premises—with efficiency and a genuine smile. It is an expansive, family-friendly property with seamless beach access and a fantastic kids' pool area complete with fun waterslides and a convenient Italian restaurant right next to it, making daily logistics completely stress-free for parents. Staying in a suite with a private pool was a huge plus, giving the kids a wonderful place to play and letting us unwind in private comfort without needing to visit the main pool area every day. We were also pleased to find that our room remained entirely free of mosquitoes and lizards. − The primary drawback of the resort is its isolated location. Although we anticipated a secluded stay, the distance becomes a hassle whenever you want to explore. Traveling to the main local hubs takes at least 15 minutes and carries a steep round-trip taxi fare of about 800 Baht, which is aggravated by the fact that standard ride-hailing apps are unavailable in the area. This remote setting limits your dining flexibility, as the resort grounds and immediate surroundings feature very few food options outside of one indoor venue with a concise menu and the outdoor Italian eatery. While the prices are not inflated, the lack of variety makes dining feel restrictive, and the expensive weekend buffet features a rather narrow selection. The breakfast, while decent, lacked daily variation and quickly felt repetitive after a couple of mornings; it is also predominantly non-kosher, with meat and dairy often combined or pork included in the salad options. Luxury from the moment of check in!
+ This resort is pure luxury. The fittings in the room were in good condition. The food was amazing. The gym was a good size and the cold towels are a great touch.
− It would have been handy to have a little street within walking distance that maybe had a few shops however this didn’t dampen our stay, we understand that this resort has everything we need and had we had better weather we may have hired the bikes for a ride around.

− Tesisin merkeze uzak olduğunu rezervasyon yaparken biliyorduk ancak bu kadar izole olduğunu tahmin etmemiştik. Otel adeta dağ başında, çevresinde neredeyse hiçbir alternatif bulunmuyor. Konaklamamız boyunca bizim dışımızda neredeyse hiç misafir göremedik.
Koridorlarda böcekler dolaşıyordu, havuzun temizliği de beklentimizin çok altındaydı. Yaşadığımız hayal kırıklığı nedeniyle 9 gecelik rezervasyonumuzu ikinci gün sonlandırmak zorunda kaldık. Buna rağmen kalan geceler için herhangi bir ücret iadesi yapılmadı. Müşteri memnuniyeti konusunda da ne yazık ki hiçbir çözüm odaklı yaklaşım göremedik.
Daha önce Le Meridien Bangkok’ta defalarca konakladım ve son derece memnun kalmıştım. Bu nedenle aynı markaya güvenerek bu oteli tercih ettim. Ancak Le Meridien Mai Khao’da yaşadığım deneyim, markaya olan güvenimi ciddi şekilde sarstı.
