− The resort is situated 20min on speedboat from Male, which is convenient, but this also means that the island is usually surrounded by trawlers that ruin the view. Furthermore, there is a construction site near it, so again, you will not get the expected Maldives environment. We booked a Sunset Overwater Villa, but the sunset was not visible from our villa during this time of the year, which was really disappointing. We complained about this after the first night, but they didn't offer any solution, only after complaining again at the checkout they offered us a discount equivalent to the Standard Overwater Villa rate. Useful price information that we would have liked to know before arriving: Transfer is 180$ + green tax of 60$ pp. The buffet is 50$, individual plates are 25-30$, +10% service charge and +17% tax. The price of activities is insane, e.g. 150$ for 2h snorkel.
