− Seaplane transfers are fun, but Centara's Seaplane transfer logistics were abysmal. We stayed in Male for two days prior to our stay. We were able to do the transfer anytime that day. Despite this, the resort was unable to confirm a time for our transfer until after 7pm the night before. OK. The time they gave us was 8:30am check in for a 9:30am flight. When we checked in at the airport, we were given tickets for a 1:30 pm flight! A total waste of our time and a horrible intro to the resort. While waiting for our flight at the seaplane port, Centara Marketing sent me an email asking how it was going? I gave them an update expressing my disappointment. I have still not had any response to my email. Seaplane departure was a known bad connection. Upon arrival the luggage delivery service sent us to a paid waiting lounge for our initial 3 hour wait - probably the worst lounge experience I have ever had. This at least made our second 2 1/2 hour wait in the actual airport lounge seem luxur
