Picture the stereotypical Maldives dream and times it by 100
+ From the moment we arrived in the Maldives, not even our resort, but the country itself, our whole experience went above and beyond what we expected! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a Mercure rep, despite it being 11pm, who helped us check in to our transfer flight, and then we were greeted upon arrival at Kooddoo Island and driven by buggy to our resort (2 minutes away) and then to our room. The restaurant, bar, spa and services staff were exceptional- always happy and smiling, up for a chat and a joke, making sure we were enjoying our experience without being annoying or overbearing. The food was delicious, the spa treatments were a dream, and the diligence was next level. We have already recommended Mercure Kooddoo to everyone we speak to about our honeymoon, including family, friends and strangers, and we cannot wait to visit again!

Enttäuschendes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis
+ Schöne Insel, nettes Personal, alles da, was man für einen Inselurlaub braucht.
− Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unserer Meinung nach nicht gegeben. Bei Übernachtungskosten von über 1000€ in einer Strandvilla pro Nacht erwarten wir einen Traumurlaub. Wir sind so weit in den Süden gereist, um das zu finden. Leider waren im Blickfeld vom Strand mehrere rostige Tanker und Transportschiffe um die Insel herum. Zusätzlich schwimmt in der Lagune eine ca. 3x3 Meter großes rostiges Ding (Pumpstation? Dieselaggregat?) das bedürftig mit Bastmatten "schön" gemacht wurde. Wie gesagt, wenn ich so weit reise und extra in den Süden der Malediven fliege und sehr viel Geld bezahle, erwarte ich einen Traumurlaub. Das Flair bekommt man sicherlich unkomplizierter und günstiger in der Nähe von Male. Wir würden nicht wieder hier her kommen.

− Le prix surtaxé de la villa sur pilotis avec piscine (+2700 dollars)
Le port très sale avec des bouteilles en plastique qui traînaient partout
Deux bateaux cargos ancrés à petite distance de l’hôtel qui gâchaient le paysage .
