Ropewalks Hotel, BW Premier Collection★★★★

The Ropewalks Hotel, Best Western Premier Collection is surrounded by a lively and eclectic mix of independent restaurants and shops and exciting bars, cocktail joints, music and arts venues. Just beyond (in a comfortable walking distance through the Liverpool One shopping area - with flagship department stores and smaller favorites) is the river Mersey where you’ll explore the city’s cultural and heritage sites, the famous ferry, the Albert Dock, M&S Arena and the iconic Three Graces.

The Ropewalks area is a fascinating central location, given its name from the many roperie streets, long and straight for the craft of rope making. A testament to the 19th century Liverpool heyday of maritime greatness. With 102 listed buildings Ropewalks is a handsome mixture of merchant houses, counting houses, and warehouses where breweries, timber yards, cooperages, potteries, foundries, sugar refining, and roperies flourished.
