We have owned Chimneys for just over 12 years and during that time we have welcomed over 15,500 guests to our lovely Grade II listed house. Chimneys is around 400 years old and has plenty of character. We are in a wonderful location with fantastic transport links on our doorstep and lots of facilities you would expect in a thriving village. Following our previous careers in hospitality and customer service, we pride ourselves on offering a very high standard of service and accommodation. Delightful 17th century detached house situated in the heart of the historical Norman village of Stansted Mountfitchet. Chimneys is individually decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard.

Just 10 minutes by car from Stansted Airport and a 3-minute walk from Stansted Mountfitchet railway station. The hotel is situated in the heart of this historical village with many properties dating back to the 16th century. There is a fine selection of restaurants all within a few minutes walk of Chimneys, including 4 pubs and 6 restaurants as well as 3 take-aways.
